First Order Optical Matching in the Final Focus Section of the Slac Linear Collider*

The procedures used for dispersion and betatron matching in the first order optical tuning of the SLC Final Focus are described. Associated modelling and fitting algorithms are presented. A straightforward method for extending uncoupled optical models to incorporate cross-plane coupling is explained.
